Jim Barnett,
CPA, CGA

Jim Barnett obtained his Certified General Accountant professional designation from CGA Alberta in 1992, which subsequently merged to form the Charter Professional Accountants Canada. Jim spent 10 years employed in public accounting practice. In 1998, Jim purchased an ownership interest in an automotive supply business and assumed the role of General Manager while continuing his practice as an accountant. In 2016, Jim acquired full ownership of the business.

Jim has volunteered in many roles in the community and professionally. He currently serves as a trustee and board member for an association of franchisees, through which he has acquired experience in commercial mediations, arbitrations, and dispute negotiations in the US and Canada.
