DWAYNE HUNKA

During his extensive business career of over 50 years, Dwayne Hunka has held numerous executive management roles in a variety of industries, including as President, CEO, and co-owner of both acquired and start up companies.  His unmatched experience transcends a broad range of industries including steel fabrication, industrial, commercial and residential construction, land development, property management, technology businesses, and as an investor in, and lender to, numerous other businesses. 

Dwayne has been an appointed board member of two publicly traded corporations, more than a dozen private companies, and gives countless hours of times to various universities, colleges, and charities, including through his recent appointment to the Board of Trustees of the University Hospital Foundation.  He has been a trusted advisor to several successful entrepreneurs and has received numerous awards of distinction in recognition of his corporate management achievements including the Ernst & Young – Entrepreneur of the Year (Manufacturing Category), and the Deloitte – Canada’s Top 50 Best Managed Companies from 2005 to 2014.
